Zoya Innocence Spring 2019

Hey, everyone!

I finally sat down to swatch the Zoya Innocence for Spring 2019.  If you have been following my blog since the beginning, you know I really dislike cold weather and being cooped up inside.  I was so relieved when this collection showed up, because it means it's almost the end of winter!

Zoya brings us six transition shades to make that leap from metallic and jewel tones from winter to bright and neon for summer.

Zoya Innocence

All of my swatches are two coats and no top coat.

I did not have any issues with these shades at all.

Zoya Birch
"A gentle greiged lavender in a full coverage cream."

Zoya Agnes
"A warm toned muted blush in a full coverage cream finish"
Zoya describes this as a blush.  I would describe it as a nude on me.

Zoya Evette
"A softened grape with a pink undertone to balance in a full coverage cream formula."
I love, love, love this purple.

Zoya Aire
"A deep, dusty periwinkle blue in a full coverage cream formula."
Out of all blue shades, periwinkle is my favorite....followed by University of Kentucky blue.

Zoya Fern
"A balanced sage with a beautiful warm pearl accent."
Zoya changed my mind about dislike of greens.  In my opinion, Zoya makes the most flattering green shades of any brand.  If I wear green, it's going to be Zoya green.
This one doesn't disappoint either.

Zoya Theo
"A stormy Grey with subtle texture - a flash of larger and irregular silver flakes in silver, with dark blue glitter throughout."
This one is unique to my collection.  This one will be really great as an accent nail or combined with nail art.

I hope you enjoyed my swatches of the Zoya Innocence Collection!

I rocked this nail art for a long time.  I absolutely loved how this turned out.  I used Agnes, Fern, and Evette.

These can be purchased at zoya.com!

Hi all!

Today, I have the Zoya Element for Fall 2018 Collection to show you!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for nail Polish shades and Zoya did not disappoint.

Almost all of my swatches were applied in one easy coat.  However, when I wear these polishes for long term wear, I choose to apply two thinner coats.  I feel it wears better this way.

Zoya Alyssa

Zoya Donnie

Zoya Maeve

Zoya Maryann

Zoya Rachael

Pixi Glow

Hi all!

I'm back from a semi long blogging vacation.  Summer break was hectic but went by very quickly.

My first post back is a magical one!  There's lots of glitter and highlights to show you.

Let's look at the Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights Glimmers Shadow first!

They're heavy on the glitter and liquid highlight.  The plus side of liquid and glitter is no fall out!  "Long wearing, liquid glimmer eyeshadow lights up the eyes with super sparkles to create an external look.  Infused with chamomile and rose extracts to soothe and hydrate."  These did dry down fast.

Top to Bottom:
Crystalline
Sun Ray
Rose Gold
Bare Brilliance
Passion Light

And Glow-y Gossamer Duo:

"Super silky goassamer-soft powder to create a lit-from-withim luminosity.  Perfectly pigmented with a crazy skin-tight texture, it looks natural in any light.  Use on Cheek and brow bones and anywhere you want to add a touch of glow."

These are pressed powders with zero glitter but very glow-y.

Subtle Sunrise (top two)
Delicate Dew (bottom two)

Thanks for stopping by!

I have some new fall collection nail polish swatches coming up for my next couple of blog posts!  It's almost fall y'all!

Sally Hansen + Crayola Insta-Dri Swatch and Review

Hey all!

I have pastel Crayola Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's to show you today!

I absolutely love the fun packaging and the pastel colors of this line.

Press Sample

All my swatches are shown in two coats.  Sally Hansen usually promotes Insta-Dri's as one coaters, but I still prefer two.  They dry very fast, so I don't wait very long before applying the second, so there's really not a lot of time added to applying my mani.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Canary

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Sea Green

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Melon

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Wisteria

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Cotton Candy

These applied really well.  I love these pastel shades because, as you know, pastel creams are one of my favorite nail polishes in the world.

I did this nail art look using Sea Green.  It dried really fast, so I was able to stamp not long after completing my base.  I also love Insta-Dri's to stamp, and I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri White On Time for my stamping polish.

Have you tried the Crayola + Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's yet?

Pixi Beauty Lash and Line Love Swatches and Review

I was very excited to receive Pixi Beauty lash and eyeliner line.  I have completely transformed my makeup vanity into a Pixi Shrine!  I have had the privilege to sample a lot of Pixi products and have loved every. single. one.

Let's look at these mascaras and liners!

Let's start with the mascaras.

The Black Lacquer Lash Primer is a multitude black lash primer that plumps, protects, and preps lashes.  $15.  Love this product.

The Large Lash Mascara intensely volumes and lengthens for large lashes.  It is smudge proof and water resistant.  $16.

I've been using the primer and mascara combo since I received my package.  I love it.  I have hooded eyes, so it's a necessity for me to have smudge proof and waterproof lashes.  This combination worked amazing for me.

Top to Bottom: Eye Define Waterline, Lash Line Ink, Eye Bright Liner, RoseGlow, VelvetViolet, BlackBlue, MatteMulberry

Lash Line Ink is a deep black ink liner.  It applies so well.  It's waterproof, non-feathering, and quick drying.  This is my new go to tightliner.  As I previously mentioned, I have hooded eyes, so tightlining is part of my everyday routine.  this product does not transfer to lower lash line and stays put all day.  $14.

Eye Define Waterline is a retractable waterproof slim liner with intense, no-smudge color payoff and gentle application.  $14.

Eye Bright Liner is a waterproof inner rim liner used to brighten the eyes.  I use this in combination with the Lash Line Ink.  $12.

Endless Silk Eye Pens are award winning waterproof eye liners that glide on so well.  The formulas are really amazeabells.  You should really give this a try.  They come in a range of colors: BackBlue, VelvetViolet, MatteMulberry, RoseGlow.  I have to say, RoseGlow is hands down my favorite.  $6 - $12.

Pixi Beauty products are available at www.pixibeauty.com.

Have you tried out any Pixi Beauty Products?  Which ones are your favorites?

Zoya Sunshine Summer 2018 Swatch and Review

Hey all!

I finally have the Zoya Sunshine Summer 2018 Collection to show you!

Last weekend was a pretty terrible weekend that carried over onto Monday.  Well, I woke up Tuesday morning and was like, "Forget everything, I'm going to do one of my favorite things to get my mind and heart in a better place."  One of my favorite things to do is to watch Trisha Yearwood's cooking show while playing with polish!

All of my swatches are in two coats.  The formulas are really great and I did not have issues with any.

I do have a thin layer of clear polygel on my nails for strength, which started breaking down and lifting throughout my swatch session.  So, if you see some wonky lines, that's what it's from.

The morning sun was very good this day, so all my pictures were taken in natural sunlight.

Which ones are your favorites?
