Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Matte Swatch and Review

Hey everyone!

I received this package of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Mattes about a month ago and I'm finally caught up with my swatches.

The Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Mattes apply in two easy coats and dry to a matte finish.  Sally Hansen also included two new nail treatments.  No More Stains Spray On Basecoat and Hard as Nails Vitamin Strength Serum.

Sally Hansen Smokey Silver

Sally Hansen Gold Rush

Sally Hansen Rose Flush
This one is my favorite.  If you only get one from this collection, I highly recommend this one.

In direct light it's a beautiful rose gold velvet matte.  But, it's more of a duo chrome with yellow and rose gold.  You can see in my nail art picture.

I love how this looks as a base for nail art and on it's own.  It's a beautiful shade that is unique to my collection.

Sally Hansen Smoldering Teal

Sally Hansen Burnished Wine
This one has holo sparkles in it that compliment the deep berry shade.

My swatch is in two coats, but I definately would do three next time.

Sally Hansen Molten Mauve

Hard as Nails Vitamin Serum
This comes in a pump bottle.  Directions indicate to apply to nails and cuticle area, but I just rub it all over my hands!

It has a nice, light scent and I really like the light non greasy formula.

No More Stains
I applied this before my swatch.  You can tell by the shininess on my fingers.  Maybe, I should've gotten closer to the nail!

Tips on application:

Mattes can be tricky.  Do not overwork the polish.  Apply one coat in one stroke.  I was able to do this with every polish because the brush is wide.  Make sure to leave a good amount of dry time between coats.

If you are still have trouble applying a matte, start with a matte top coat as a base coat.  Sally Hansen does make a great Matte Top Coat.  Starting with a matte top coat gives the polish a nice base coat to stick to.

I'll have the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Summer Collection next week!

Zoya Barefoot Summer 2019 Collection

Today, I have the Zoya Barefoot Summer 2019 Collection to show you.

The formulas and applications are great and I had zero problems with any.  All my swatches are shown in two coats; except Dallas, as I used it in a glitter gradient.

Zoya Joey
This is my favorite from the collection.  It reminds me of a cover pink polygel shade.

Zoya Tessa

Zoya Keira

Zoya Marcy

Zoya Liza

Zoya Robbie

Zoya Dacey

Zoya Rie

Zoya Walker

Zoya Eleni

Zoya Bee

Zoya Innocence Spring 2019

Hey, everyone!

I finally sat down to swatch the Zoya Innocence for Spring 2019.  If you have been following my blog since the beginning, you know I really dislike cold weather and being cooped up inside.  I was so relieved when this collection showed up, because it means it's almost the end of winter!

Zoya brings us six transition shades to make that leap from metallic and jewel tones from winter to bright and neon for summer.

Zoya Innocence

All of my swatches are two coats and no top coat.

I did not have any issues with these shades at all.

Zoya Birch
"A gentle greiged lavender in a full coverage cream."

Zoya Agnes
"A warm toned muted blush in a full coverage cream finish"
Zoya describes this as a blush.  I would describe it as a nude on me.

Zoya Evette
"A softened grape with a pink undertone to balance in a full coverage cream formula."
I love, love, love this purple.

Zoya Aire
"A deep, dusty periwinkle blue in a full coverage cream formula."
Out of all blue shades, periwinkle is my favorite....followed by University of Kentucky blue.

Zoya Fern
"A balanced sage with a beautiful warm pearl accent."
Zoya changed my mind about dislike of greens.  In my opinion, Zoya makes the most flattering green shades of any brand.  If I wear green, it's going to be Zoya green.
This one doesn't disappoint either.

Zoya Theo
"A stormy Grey with subtle texture - a flash of larger and irregular silver flakes in silver, with dark blue glitter throughout."
This one is unique to my collection.  This one will be really great as an accent nail or combined with nail art.

I hope you enjoyed my swatches of the Zoya Innocence Collection!

I rocked this nail art for a long time.  I absolutely loved how this turned out.  I used Agnes, Fern, and Evette.

These can be purchased at!
