24 Karat Lacquer Holo Symphony Collection Swatch and Review

Hey guys!  Did you have a great weekend?  Mine was okay, nothing crazy to report.  I guess that's a good thing!

Today I have a six piece linear holographic collection to show you from 24 Karat Lacquer!

Serenade
A silver linear holographic polish.  The formula and application is great.  My swatch is shown in two coats plus 24 Karat Lacquer Glass Slipper top coat

Grandioso
A copper linear holographic.  I'm surprised that I don't own a copper holo like this!  Totally took me by surprise.  I feel like this will be a great fall shade.

The formula is good and has the potential to be a bit brush strokey.  Use the three swipes on the nail polishing technique and you should be good.

My swatch is shown in two coats.

Fantasia
You already know this is my favorite!  Jewel tone fuckshia!!!!!  Yea!

The formula and application were great.  My swatch is shown in two coats.

Dolce
This one is teal AF.  Another one of my favs!

The formula and application are great and....wait for it....my swatch is shown in ONE COAT.  This is crazy pigmented.  Make sure you wear a base coat with this one.  I did not experience any type of staining with this; however, I did use a base coat.

Symphonic
A bold blue linear holo.  This one is very pigmented.  I mean, super pigmented.  Basically what I'm telling you is, use a base coat.  Don't just use it, apply it carefully covering the whole nail, and remove this with non acetone.  This blue is a stainer.  I'm not trying to scare you away from this blue because it's pretty.  Just don't apply it all willy nilly.

My swatch is shown in two coats.

Passionato
Violet linear holo.  Oooohhh, pretty!

Just like the others above, this is highly pigmented.  You need to use a base coat with this one as well.

My swatch is shown in two coats.

The shades in this collection are very rich and very saturated.  The shades are very much worth it but you must be all 'bout that bass,' bout that bass if you want to prevent staining.

The formulas were all great and I had no trouble with application on any.

The 24 Karat Lacquer Holo Symphony Collection is available now and the first 20 complete sets purchased will also receive the new top coat "Glass Slippers."  Individual bottles are $11 with a full set at $62.

Hey, while you're here, why don't you check out my review of 24 Karat Lacquer's Summer of Love Collection.

Have a great Monday, guys!

  1. I like them. I just wish they were a tiny bit more complex. They'd probably marble like a boss, though.
