I bought FingerPaints gel polish Appetite for the Archetype awhile back on the clearance rack at Sally's and I neglected it for a long time. I decided to use it for my base for a nail art challenge on Instagram, so here it is!

I'll admit, I only bought it because I thought it was a deep purple and I needed a deep purple gel polish. Plus, it was only $3. I was totally wrong about what this shade is. This turned out to be a bright, neon purple. It reminds me a lot of China Glaze Violet Vibes.
The formula isn't as opaque as I would want it, but that's okay because it was jelly-ish and that gives it a squishy look. I was able to get this fully opaque in three coats. I really, really love the finished look.
I then used What's Up Nail Vinyls in the watermarble design and Color Club Halo-graphic to create a nail art design.
I'm just meh about this design. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but in my head the design was supposed to be really dark with the holo design.
I'm still on the hunt for a dark purple gel polish, but on the plus side I own a squishy and awesome neon purple gel polish!
I did not test the wear time or removal of this gel polish as I only used it for my nail art base. I used a peel off base with my swatch.
